Delete your account

You can delete your Gamer Nexus account and everything in it at any time. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need to reinstall the app.
From inside the app
- Open Gamer Nexus and go to Settings
- Scroll to Delete account
- Confirm
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
If you can no longer sign in
Email support@gamer-nexus.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify ownership and delete it for you within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile, display name, and uploaded profile picture
- Your email address and the sign-in identity behind it, so the account cannot be recovered
- Linked gaming accounts and handles - Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Epic, EA
- Your game library, followed games and companies, and achievements
- Friends, friend requests, and blocks
- Conversation memberships and the messages you sent
- Matches you created or joined, and tournament entries
- "Looking to play" posts
- Push notification tokens and notification history
- Feedback and bug reports you submitted
- Your subscription records
What is retained, and for how long
- Abuse reports filed about your account - kept so we can protect other users. These do not identify you to anyone outside our moderation process.
- Aggregate records that no longer reference your account - retained indefinitely, because they contain no personal data.
Nothing else is kept. We do not retain a shadow copy of a deleted profile.
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and we cannot cancel one on your behalf. Cancel it first - iOS: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Android: Play Store › Payments and subscriptions.
